The first annual Irish Online Film Festival will take place online from Wednesday 9th September 2026 to Saturday 19th September with live screenings and an awards night at Rascals Brewery in Dublin on the final day of the event.
Online programme will be available here from Wednesday 9th September 2026.
Live screenings at Rascals Brewery in Inchicore, Dublin on the 19th will also include an industry networking event followed by an awards ceremony.
There are 5 categories in this year’s event:
Best Irish Short Film, Best Irish Short Documentary, Best Irish Language Short Film, Best Irish Student Short Film, Best International Short Film.
The IOFF is an Irish-focused festival and only films made on the island of Ireland will be eligible for entry - except for the Best International Short Film section. The Festival will stream online at www.eiretainment.com across Ireland, the UK and the EU.
