The Elders

This documentary-art film explores the concept of “ageing energy” through the eyes, voices, and hands of seven Irish artists over 70. As they navigate the later stages of life, they experience a profound creative urgency—a pressing need to make their mark with greater intensity and poignancy in the time they have left. Through their stories and artistry, the film illuminates the deep connection between aging and artistic expression, revealing how the passage of time fuels their creativity rather than diminishes it.
