GETAWAY, the short film directed by, David Duggan, whose credits include the movie, “Brew`d in Dublin” has created several publications, launched a radio station dedicated to independent artists and is a member of the band Future Fears,. David also takes the role as writer, producer, cameraman and editor of GETAWAY. Featuring Irish actor Klara McDonnell, known for her roles in RTEs “Fair City” and feature films such as “Spa Weekend” and “Vaudevillians”, Klara plays the old school “Villainess/Love Interest” and mastermind behind the game. Also starring Brew Mbirika, as The Htitman, hailing from NYC and living as a Dub, Brews movie credits include “Christmas in Notting Hill” the acclaimed. “Hyphen” and “Blind Spots”. Introducing Breno Cummins, Dublin born actor, tasked with taking out BERKO in his debut role as “The Hitman”. GETAWAY also stars BERKO, as BERKO, the main lead, who is hunted down across the city, facing many obstacles, must try to outsmart and outwit the powers that be in order to survive.Shot on location across Dublin City, GETAWAY is a faced paced thrill and throw back to chase movies of old.
